Example Usage of 

campaign_report_bounce_totals

Obtain bounce totals for a specific campaign.

Description:

Obtain a total of all bounces for a specific campaign. This only returns the total amount of each type of bounce, much like is seen along the top on the Campaign Reports page. To view individual bounced email addresses, use campaign_report_bounce_list.

Parameters:

* indicates requirement. Underlined params include in URL, otherwise as part of the post body. POST data must be formatted as

api_key*	Your API key
api_output	xml, json, or serialize (default is XML)
campaignid*	ID of the campaign you wish to see bounces for
messageid*	Message ID

Example response:

total_amt	The total amount of contacts sent to, for this campaign. Example: 4
softbounces	Number of soft bounces for this campaign. Example: 0
hardbounces	Number of hard bounces for this campaign. Example: 3
totalbounces	Total bounces for this campaign. Example: 3
result_code	Whether or not the response was successful. Examples: 1 = yes, 0 = no
result_message	A custom message that appears explaining what happened. Example: Something is returned
result_output	The result output used. Example: serialize

PHP Example

This is an example of using the campaign_report_bounce_totals call with PHP. You can replicate the same idea in virtually any other programming language. The example shown is using serialize as the output format. You can change that to XML or JSON if you would like.
